Welcome to The Avid Collectors. By accessing our website, placing an order or purchasing from our store, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

1. General Conditions

The Avid Collectors operates an online and physical retail business based in Singapore, specialising in trading card games, model kits, Beyblade products, collectible figures and hobby merchandise.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where reasonably necessary, including suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, stock discrepancies or violations of purchase limits.

Orders are subject to stock availability and acceptance.

2. Product Authenticity & Descriptions

We source products through authorised distributors, official suppliers and legitimate distribution channels.

Where applicable, The Avid Collectors is an officially appointed retailer through the relevant brand's authorised distributors.

We endeavour to ensure product descriptions, images and specifications are accurate. Product images may be illustrative, and minor variations in packaging, colour or manufacturer presentation may occur.

Any material discrepancy will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable consumer laws.

3. Product Packaging & Cosmetic Condition

We understand that packaging condition is important to collectors.

However, unless expressly stated otherwise, products are sold as standard retail merchandise and are not guaranteed to have pristine, grading-quality or resale-grade packaging.

Minor cosmetic imperfections may include:

Small dents or compressed corners.
Light scratches, scuffs or surface marks.
Minor creases or packaging wear.
Slight shrink-wrap wrinkles or imperfections.
Minor manufacturer-related packaging variations.

Minor cosmetic imperfections do not automatically constitute a product defect or qualify for a refund.

Significant packaging damage, defects or material discrepancies will be assessed individually, considering the product description and its intended purpose.

4. Factory-Sealed Products & Collectibles

Factory-sealed trading card products, Beyblade products, model kits, figures and limited-edition collectibles are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Opening, removing or tampering with factory seals may affect eligibility for discretionary returns.

Products remain eligible for applicable statutory remedies where defective, materially misdescribed or otherwise required by law.

We do not guarantee specific trading card pulls, rarity distributions, collectible values or grading outcomes unless expressly stated.

5. Resale & Secondary-Market Expectations

Products are sold as genuine hobby and collectible merchandise.

The Avid Collectors does not guarantee:

Future resale value or profitability.
Secondary-market demand or price appreciation.
Pristine resale-grade packaging.
Professional grading eligibility or grading scores.
Any particular investment return.

A customer's inability to resell a product at their desired price does not independently qualify the purchase for a refund.

This provision does not exclude remedies for products that are defective or materially different from their description.

6. Pricing, Payments & Order Confirmation

Prices are displayed in the currency selected at checkout and may change without prior notice.

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of an order but does not guarantee fulfilment where stock, payment or pricing issues arise.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors and cancel affected orders with an appropriate refund.

Marketplace prices may differ from prices offered through our website or physical store.

7. Stock Availability & Purchase Limits

Website inventory may be shared with physical store and warehouse inventory.

Occasional stock discrepancies may occur. If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact the customer regarding an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement.

Purchase limits may apply to selected high-demand or limited-release products.

We reserve the right to cancel orders exceeding clearly communicated purchase limits, including multiple orders reasonably identified as attempts to circumvent those limits.

8. Pre-Orders & Special Orders

Pre-orders are subject to manufacturer and distributor allocations.

Release dates and estimated arrival dates are indicative and may change due to production, distribution, customs or logistics delays.

Customer-initiated cancellations of confirmed pre-orders may result in forfeiture of deposits where such terms were clearly disclosed and are legally enforceable.

Where we cannot fulfil an order, an appropriate refund or mutually agreed alternative will be offered.

9. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed according to our published operating schedule and courier availability.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed.

Once an order is dispatched, delivery schedules are managed by the appointed courier.

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes and local clearance requirements, which are generally the recipient's responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.

We use reasonable protective packaging to minimise transit damage. However, minor cosmetic wear may occur during transportation.

Customers should contact us promptly regarding missing, incorrect or damaged deliveries so that we can investigate.

Our responsibilities for delivery and transit-related issues remain subject to applicable consumer laws.

10. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

All returns and refunds are governed by our published Refund Policy.

Discretionary returns generally require prior authorisation and must meet the applicable product-condition requirements.

Returns may be declined for change of mind, resale dissatisfaction or other non-defect reasons, subject to applicable law.

Where goods are defective, materially misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet statutory requirements, customers retain their applicable legal remedies.

11. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Customers are encouraged to inspect products upon delivery and report any issues as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours.

Claims should include an order number, photographs and a description of the issue.

We may request additional evidence to assess the circumstances.

The recommended reporting period does not remove statutory consumer rights.

12. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact our support team before initiating a payment dispute to allow us an opportunity to investigate and propose a resolution.

In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, The Avid Collectors reserves the right to submit relevant transaction records, product descriptions, courier confirmations, photographs and customer correspondence to the payment provider.

All disputes will be handled under the relevant payment provider's procedures and applicable law.

Nothing in these terms restricts a customer's right to raise a legitimate payment dispute or exercise statutory consumer protections.

13. Website Use & Intellectual Property

Website content, including original photographs, graphics, descriptions, branding and other materials, belongs to The Avid Collectors or the respective rights holders.

Unauthorised reproduction or commercial use is prohibited except as permitted by law or with appropriate permission.

Customers must not misuse the website, submit fraudulent information or interfere with its operation.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Avid Collectors is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We do not accept responsibility for fluctuations in collectible resale prices, speculative investment losses or third-party grading outcomes.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to customers in other jurisdictions.

Disputes will be handled through the appropriate legal or dispute resolution channels.

16. Changes to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Changes will be published on our website and generally apply to purchases made after the updated terms take effect.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or alter contractual obligations already established for earlier purchases without lawful agreement.
